Combining the Greek word for stone and the Italian word for green, Lithoverde by Salvatori is made of 99% pre-consumer waste from stone yards and 1% natural resin. Workers layer and adhere cut stone scraps together with a soy-based binder to create masonry blocks. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use on floors and walls, Lithoverde comes in 12″ widths or in 8’1 1/2″-long-by-4’3″-wide slabs; standard thicknesses are 3/8″ for tiles and 5/8″ for slabs.
