Panasonic has expanded its line of WhisperGreen ventilation fans to include two models that feature a cutting-edge LED light and revolutionary DC motor that uses only 7.5 Watts, creating what the manufacturer claims are the most sustainable ventilation fans on the market. The ultra-quiet units offer an 80 CFM fan and operate at .25″ w.g. static pressure; they fit in 2×8 construction, feature a rustproof paint treatment on the galvanized housing, and come with a 6-year warranty on the DC motor and a 3-year warranty on parts. The WhisperGreen LED FV-08VKME3 unit also features Panasonic’s SmartAction motion sensor, which activates when it senses a person and returns to the lower speed when the occupant leaves the room.
