The Luminance light shelf from YKK AP is made of aluminum extrusions and a honeycomb core panel with a highly reflective melamine surface that diffuses daylight deep into interior spaces. A 90-degree tilt-down panel allows for easy maintenance of the shelf as well as the glazing above it. Four interior fascia trim designs are available. When combined with the company’s ThermaShade sunshades, the total sun control solution can qualify for LEED credits.
