The software, which is available free of charge at www.ilevel.com/Forte, enables users to evaluate alternatives for joists, flush and drop beams, sloped roof members, and wall headers to optimize materials and reduce costs.

The software can be used to perform load calculations and identify framing solutions for specific building conditions and geometry, allowing for sizing of members for a given spacing or member depth, or for the best overall fit, all from an intuitive, customizable interface. A flexible Job Tree allows users to organize multiple member calculations in a single file. For floors, side-by-side display of comparison values and iLevel TJ-Pro™ Ratings help users balance floor structural system performance with customer expectations.

Forte software provides framing solutions that are compliant with the 2006 International Building Code (IBC) and National Building Code of Canada Building Codes (NBCC 2005).
