ICC Seeking Members to Develop Rainwater Standard

1 MIN READ
The International Code Council (ICC) is seeking members of a standards development committee for ICC 805, Standard for Rainwater Collection System Design and Installation. The standard will apply to the design, installation, and maintenance of rainwater collection systems intended to collect, store, treat, distribute, and utilize rainwater for potable and non-potable applications.
This ANSI standard was first announced in April 2011 when ICC filed a project initiative notification system with the American National Standards Institute (ANSI). The ICC is now receiving applications for the development committee, which will consist of 12 to 15 members of the following interest categories: general, user, and producer. Regulators, designers, installers, environmentalists, manufacturers, and rainwater association members are encouraged to apply.
A full description of the interest categories as well as an application are available here.
