Ascending the grand steps to the entry lobby leads to the amenity plaza, where residents can gather around a fire pit on a raised plaza. The art wall adjacent to the leasing office in the lobby evokes a welcome feeling, steps beyond are the community lounge and fitness center.
The City’s space requirements – public, private, building separation – was achieved by designing semi-private courtyards along the street to break-up the building façade giving the building the appearance of three structures, instead of one. Connecting courtyards to the sidewalks provides greater visual depth. Balconies, interior courtyards, and patio spaces offer retreats for solitude or social gatherings.
