Project Description
Selfoss is a monolithic coffee table crafted from a single 6061 aluminum sheet. Like its namesake Icelandic waterfall, its taut upper surface splits into multiple cascading flows. The faceted geometries of these three asymmetrical legs provide stiffness and support to this deceptively lightweight object.
Exhibited at the A+D Architecture and Design Museum, Los Angeles, CA as part of the “Celebrate: Shelter” inaugural exhibition and fundraiser (2015)
