Project Description
Cooper Carry led this design-build project for Georgia Tech to transform the size and reach of the existing Student Center and to create opportunities for the campus community to reset, restore, and refuel. Cooper Carry’s team programmed and designed four buildings extending over 11-acres and organized along pedestrian pathways. Through this concept, the team was able to “explode the box” of the traditional student center by extending it across the campus, where it could have the greatest impact on students’ well-being. Phase I is complete and opened in Fall 2020. Phase II will open in Fall 2022.
