Project Description
The perspective from the front of this residence disguises its actual size so it corresponds with other homes in the neighborhood. Harrison Design’s architects conceived the 8,000-square-foot home in the spirit of Sir Edwin Lutyens. The unadorned exterior uses tumbled Indiana limestone with iron-clad windows that assure plenty of light. Once inside, the vast scale of the home is evident, with groin vaults, arched halls and whitewashed timber framing accentuating the airy nature of the design. The effect is at once classically English, yet modern. Covered terraces extend the living space and provide inviting entertaining areas.
