Project Description
Walls of board-formed concrete and stone wrap a new outdoor tasting terrace, providing enclosure while opening to views of the vineyards and concert green. A bosque of pistache trees forms a ceiling to this outdoor room containing the elements of fire, water and wood. Redwood wine barrels were custom milled to sheath the exterior wall of the cellar and tasting bar.
The terrace provides a flexible space for social connection, for both everyday use and special events, while also becoming an important connecting piece between winery entry and concert green.
