Project Description
This 18,000 sq ft retrofit of an existing factory building in Brooklyn is the new central location for the printing studios and auxiliary space for the creative agency Box Studios/KiDS Creative. One of the priorities during the design process was to maintain the open floorplans to allow for abundant natural light and facilitate a collaborative work environment. The firm worked closely with the client to achieve a design tailored to their needs, while finishes and details were carefully selected to preserve the texture of the original manufacturing facility. The project integrates highly efficient building systems such as LED lighting and high efficiency HVAC to minimize energy consumption.
