Project Description
This project proposal was made as part of the Bandung City Government Redevelopment Program. We utilized innovative research and planning as we intend the design to increase the quality of traditional market spaces and push the boundaries of how people view them. The building consist of 380 affordable housing units, 12.000 sqm of retail area and local market, 2.100 sqm rooftop park. The layout is based on rotating an efficient square plan in order to create dynamic and interesting voids as well as public garden space. Meanwhile, efficiency in plan and structure is still maintained.
