The Tendril Residential Energy Ecosystem connects utilities with consumers, letting homeowners manage their consumption to a pre-determined budget and receive alerts about peak energy prices, demand-response incidents, and other information from utilities. The in-home wireless network allows appliances and outlets to communicate directly to a home-energy monitor or Web portal.
