Open Source Office Exhibit “Design Connects” Opens at AIA Convention

Bridging the gap between the outdated 20th-century brick-and-mortar workspace and the hyper-connected technologically savvy (or at least saturated) employee can be a tall order. To bring the issue to the forefront, the AIA, Hanley Wood, and BNIM developed the Open Source Office Exhibit, “Design Connects.”

The exhibit will serve as a forum at the 2012 AIA National Convention, where on- and off-site attendees can collaborate and share ideas on tackling this design dilemma. Discussions will include what is missing in the modern-day office and how design and technology can positively impact the workspace.
