The AIA has named 12 honorees for the AIA Diversity Best Practices for 2008. The distinction is part of the Diversity Recognition Program, which aims to recognize architects for their commitment and contributions to diversifying the architecture profession. In its inaugural year, a total of 33 submissions were received. Submissions by the award recipients will be displayed at the AIA 2009 National Convention and Design Exposition in San Francisco.
