ARCHITECT and The American Institute of Architects are teaming up to reduce their carbon footprint. ARCHITECT has long offered a digital companion to its print counterpart—readers today can access the online archives of AIA’s official journal starting from the January 2010 issue. Now, AIA is encouraging its members to opt for the digital edition of ARCHITECT moving forward in an effort to reduce the carbon footprint of its community. By subscribing to ARCHITECT’s digital edition, you can experience the magazine’s award-winning design while doing your part to help reduce carbon emissions. And don’t forget: ARCHITECT’s website offers additional design, practice, and technology stories that we simply cannot fit in the issue.

Here is a quick guide on how to get the most from ARCHITECT’s digital edition.
