USG Corp. has released Sheetrock brand UltraLight Panels Firecode 30, a lightweight 5/8″ non-type X wallboard. The gypsum panels are 30% lighter than a standard type X panel and are made with up to 95% recycled content. They meet building requirements for nonrated and for 30-minute fire-rated applications.
