3A Composites has introduced Alucobond Cool, a cool paint technology for its cladding material. The finish offers higher solar reflectivity to result in lower cooling costs and energy savings. The line is available in 15 polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) colors. It also features chalk resistance, corrosion resistance, and chemical, humidity, and salt-spray resistance. The line should require little maintenance, with conventional detergents or cleaning solvents removing most surface contaminants.
