Yellow Mountain StoneWorks Reclaimed Grand Tortoise Limestone
The Reclaimed Grand Tortoise Limestone from Yellow Mountain StoneWorks was originally part of an ancient revetment on a tributary of China's Yangtze River that was destroyed by a flood more than 650 years ago. Predating the Ming Dynasty, the limestone retained centuries-old traditional Chinese finishes and features a rich chocolate color with some veining in what the company describes as a squarish, mottled pattern similar to the back of a tortoise shell. Most of the blocks are about 30" x 18" x 10", from which Yellow Mountain can fabricate multiple pieces of veneer, quoins, or pavers.
