Renee Chow Named UC Berkeley Architecture Chair

The California architect has been on the faculty for more than two decades.

The University of California, Berkeley’s College of Environmental Design named architect Renee Chow, AIA, the newest chair of the architecture department. Chow began in her new role as chair in July, and the college published a introductory interview with her on Tuesday. In addition to her roles as a professor of architecture and urban design and a principal at local firm Studio Urbis, Chow has also served as the associate dean for undergraduate studies and the Eva Li chair in design ethics during her two-and-a-half decade career at the college.
