Pedersen Lounge Chair, Bernhardt Design
Bernhardt’s Pedersen lounge chair by Thomas Pedersen marks the Danish designer’s American debut. The initial idea for the chair originated with the Stingray chair, which earned Pedersen international recognition in 2008. Still a prototype, its current form takes inspiration from the shape of an open seashell and is designed for ergonomic comfort. The piece was shown in oak and walnut with a metal base in copper and black chrome, respectively. An official launch is scheduled for the fall. bernhardtdesign.com
