The tile manufacturer has collaborated with textile designer Shanan Campanero to translate her intricate fabric patterns into a line of cement tiles.

Designed by Shanan Campanero, founder of New York–based textile design firm Eskayel, this eponymous collection of handmade cement tiles is the newest addition to the artist series by the Sausalito, Calif.–based tile manufacturer Clé. The 8″-square tiles are offered in black and white or multicolor options in eight patterns, including Omaha kinship (shown), akimbo, peak, dance, and Areca palm. cletile.com

She holds master degrees in urban ecological planning from Norwegian University of Science and Technology and in world heritage studies from Brandenburg University of Technology.
