Project Description
An unoccupied bank is converted to a two-level recreational cannabis dispensary. In an effort to maximize design impact the existing massing is reused, and emphasized with exaggerated forms. Two towering elements bookend a newly formed sweeping feature facade, modeled with a pleated skin to emulate the flowing effect of a lifted curtain. Planar projection geometry is used to make construction of the curved facade more efficient and easier to fabricate with common construction techniques.
