AOS Architects is a 28-person firm with offices in Philadelphia, PA and Santa Fe, NM. The firm’s projects have been locally, regionally, and nationally recognized with numerous distinguished awards for preservation planning and design. We approach architecture and planning as a means to give life and purpose to new and existing structures and academic campuses. We celebrate the diversity of our clients and find inspiration in the specific goals and conditions of each project we undertake.

Much of the firm’s work is with institutions that want to balance a need for growth with a commitment to the preservation of the character and scale of their existing buildings and sites. Our project team is committed to meeting budget, environmental and scheduling objectives, while creating places that enrich and sustain the lives of those who use them.

Over the course of our 40-year history, AOS Architects has developed considerable experience with academic, religious, and cultural institutions that range from master planning and feasibility studies to full architectural services for new buildings as well as additions and renovations of significant historic structures.
