Product: OutBack Power Technologies Flexmax Extreme Charge Controller

The Flexmax Extreme Charge Controller is a maximum-power-point-tracking charge controller designed to acquire and store the most power from a photovoltaic system. The Arlington, Wash.-based company says that the charge controller can increase the energy yield from a solar photovoltaic array by as much as 30 percent. Suited for outdoor use for temperatures from -20 to 45 C (-4 to 113 F), this sealed controller relies on passive cooling and supports 12, 24, 36, 48, and 60 VDC battery voltages.
