Project Description
Long Beach & 21st creates a space for seniors to actively engage and enjoy life. The four-story building echoes the aesthetic of the neighboring Long Beach Senior Arts Colony, but is more geometric in shape and driven by larger portions of glass. One and two-bedroom floor plans with features including a community room, community kitchen, library and roof deck.
Long Beach and 21st Apartments is a 41 unit mixed population community that combines LBHA and MHSA subsidized 1 bedroom units with affordable 1 and 2 bedroom units for individuals who have experienced homelessness and/or disabilities. The property will feature a number of services for residents, including assistance with employment, money management, and educational services, as well as support in obtaining health and dental care. The services will be provided by Meta Housing’s development partner on the project, PATH Ventures.
