The National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) installed a new president and elected a first vice president at its annual meeting, held last month in Chicago.

Andrew W. Prescott, of Potomac, Md., was installed as NCARB’s president, having served previously as the council’s first vice president in 2009 and as treasurer from 2007 to 2008. Prescott was affiliated with the Albany, N.Y.–based firm Einhorn Yaffee Prescott for 26 years.

Kenneth J. Naylor, of Salt Lake City, was elected first vice president/president-elect, having previously served as the council’s second vice-president, and will assume the presidency in July 2010. Naylor is also a founding principal and president of Naylor Wentworth Lund Architects in Utah.
